Finns’ inner emotions bubble to the surface in this striking exhibition of newly created Finnish jewelry art at Four Seasons - Emotional jewelry exhibition.
This exhibition brings together the works of 18 Finnish jewelry artists, allowing the artists and audience alike to connect with their true emotions through expressive jewelry art that is mostly previously unseen.
The theme of the four seasons exhibition is not only about the weather but also about the expression of people’s inner emotions. People’s emotional and psychological states tend to follow the course of the seasons. In this exhibition we aim for the jewelry artists and the exhibition audience alike to get in touch with their true emotions: emotional interaction achieved through emotional jewelry.
This exhibition collaborates with Korutaideyhdistys. The former Head of Design at Kalevala Koru, Kirsti Doukas, and internationally known Finnish jewelry artist Helena Lehtinen are the guest artists of the exhibition.
The exhibited artists are: Melitina Balabin, Nikolai Balabin, Tuija Hietanen, Elina Honkanen, Anu Kirkinen, Sirja Knaapi, Mervi Kurvinen, Saija Lehtonen, Tytti Lindström, Alves Ludovico, Wiebke Pandikow, Tiina Rajakallio, Katriina Seppälä, Marianne Siponmaa, Elias Sormanen, Tarja Tuupanen.
